Spice Rack with Eggnog Winter Brew
During the holidays, when I was growing up, my Pop would gather up a big
metal bowl, eggs, milk, some spices, and handful of mugs and spread
them all out on the dining room table. He was making his specialty,
eggnog! There was no better way to enjoy the holidays then wrapping my
fingers around a mug and sipping some homemade nog. This spice rack is a
complete kit for brewing up such a pot of delicious brew. Made of
reclaimed wood from olde shipping crates, the rack holds three vials of
ingredients; nutmeg, vanilla extract, and cinnamon sticks. It also
comes with a recipe book. All you need is a bowl, some eggs, whipping
cream, milk and for a little extra holiday cheer some rum and Root (a
liqueur by ART IN THE AGE available at state stores, more info at
www.artintheage.com).
Once you are finished with the spices, the
nog is gone and you've found your cheer, you can refill the spices or
use the rack as a vase for flowers.
